Syed, or Raza as he is known, is a qualified Chartered Accountant, trained with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC), with over 25 years of experience in professional practice and industry.
After working in audit for more than four years, he moved to the PWC tax section for two years where he gained valuable insight into international tax planning.
Thereafter, Raza moved to OMV AG and gained valuable financial accounting and taxation industry experience in a listed company and a leading energy company, for more than 16 years working in different countries in the Middle East, Africa, and Europe. After which Raza moved to PPL Limited one of the largest oil and Gas listed companies in Pakistan as Senior Manager Finance Asset operations.
Raza has extensive experience running finance teams, managing several business acquisitions and implementing SAP in a live environment. With hands-on experience in developing new accounting systems, procedures, and controls, he has an excellent understanding of key performance indicators (KPIs) and how they can be useful in driving performance in a corporate environment.
